I had trouble with the first song and was scared of hitting the second link. Glad I did.
Revistited the first song again (after 40 minutes of looping through the second link), once past the first few riffs the song it is accessable to me.
Very similar to Pretty girls make graves. My response to them is similar, early stuff is not accessable, the later stuff I like. Getting old...
Ok, I been listening to "Not A Word" for about 3+ hours straight. I think they steal some chords from Yes at the end of the song, "make seen all good people". I get some images on YesSongs and an 8 track player.

you are so right...i love that this has been driving you crazy!
After you brought it up, I started listening more...there are a lot of things about the song that make it a throwback to that era...if you had a male singer the song would be sooo different.
these guys have rolled through my town a few times. not krazy-krunk about it, but yeah, I'm gettin old. one to watch for sure! check out the other stuff on sound virus, too.
