Y.A.C.H.T was shocking...beyond what I expected. He understands that it is not about standing behing a laptop and making music for people to listen to.

yea yacht played here a good while ago and I passed on it cuz I cant stand the whole lookit me I am so lo-fi kpunk tweekitten crapola anymore. oh well eh?
I don't disagree with you at all...I actually am not into a lot of this stuff, but YACHT and Bobby Birdman are doing something different (and they are really nice guys). They've got a bit more pop sensibility in them than the average lo-fi guy...the night started out with another band, and I actually thought the whole thing was going to be horrible...I can't stand watching someone sit there on their laptop twiddling about...not into it. Jona (YACHT) seems to be aware of this and instead performs for you...he blew away my expectations.
