I haven't watched Hardwood yet, but Ryan is beautiful.

what is it about canada that encourages such consistently artistic animation?
It's beautiful, isn't it? Touching and gorgeous to look at.
rb I think the National Film Board of Canada has a lot to do with encouraging this kind of creative work, i.e. funding :) Which reminds me, guanoboy, you should do a post on the band "Boards of Canada", to whom Radiohead knowingly owes a debt to.
