Fembots are go!

I had such a hard time taking these guys seriously, I wasn't even interested in checking them out, their name was such a turn-off for me. I had this feeling they would be this indie-pop joke band, with tunes that weren't really funny. Boy, was I wrong.

The Fembots are much more serious than that and their music, well, it's something else entirely. You could probably put the alt-country tag to them, but that's like saying the Scud Mountain Boys are alt-country. It just doesn't paint a complete picture. And don't get me wrong, there's a sense of humor in their songs, it's just a bit darker than you might expect.

Check them out, I think you won't be disapointed.

More bands should use the saw, don't you think...such an eerie, otherworldly sound.
